![]() ![]() You know what game is unlikely to be fun to watch? The Broncos and Jets. The good news though is Swift can still produce RB1 numbers in this timeshare. We might be back to that frustrating 50/50 backfield split. Brown is a superstar, so no worries about him as he practiced in full all week long, but I’m interested to see how the Lions split up this backfield with a healthy Swift after Jamaal Williams looked as good as he did in Swift’s absence. Fantasy managers get early Halloween candy with these two back in their lineups, and both can be viewed as Top 12 options at their respective positions the rest of the year. We also hope to have the return of two other fantasy studs we haven’t seen in a while on the other side of the field in D’Andre Swift and Amon-Ra St. I see a lot of games with positive game scripts ahead for Dallas, leading to 15-20 touch games for Elliott. Zeke is a great blocker and Dallas will lean on him even more now with Dak back under center. We can all hope and pray for the Tony Pollard takeover all we want but it’s not happening. ![]() I know, I know, some of you are saying Zeke? Why him? Sure, it hasn’t been the prettiest first six weeks, but I see a path for him going forward to have a bunch of RB1/Top 12 weeks, starting with this week. My personal favorite trade target has been Ezekiel Elliott. I really like this Dallas offense moving forward now and have been trying to trade for some of the pieces in this offense all week long in home leagues. Start him with confidence right away and look for Michael Gallup to have his first big game since his return, with his snaps and targets continuing to trend upwards. And what better time for his return than vs. Is Dak back to try and breath some life into the fantasy football QB market? Managers of his have definitely been counting the days to his return after playing the streaming game for the past six weeks. We do get the return of the fantasy-friendly Detroit Lions this Sunday, as they come off their bye to visit the Dallas Cowboys and the expected return of Dak Prescott. Bailey Zappe showdown in prime time! Giddy up! Add to it, the fact that there are no games with a Vegas total over 50 (Seattle/Chargers 49.5 or 50 in some places), and there are five(!) games with a total of 42 or less! Offensive production is all ready at a premium and now we take away the Bills and Eagles, who are two of the most fantasy-friendly teams going, and are actually not painful to watch - we may need to order the extra shot of espresso in our Sunday coffee to get through this day! Oh, and hey, if you make it through this Sunday, we have a treat for you on Monday night -a Justin Fields vs. Scores were pretty low across all my leagues last week and with all the big-time fantasy players on byes this week, be prepared to see something similar this week, in my opinion. But guess what? That’s fantasy football, and that’s why it’s so challenging and will make you frustrated yet feel all so rewarded on the weeks it all comes together, especially when you make that great lineup decision. Every week we see our players go from putting up 20-point games one week, to three points the next, which leaves us scratching our heads. Listen, this season has been challenging, no doubt about it. Maybe all of you managers of the above players will get to see how the other half of us live this week!
